About the show, “Wheeler Dealers.”

Wheelers Dealers premiered on Discovery U.K. in October 7th, 2003. Undoubtedly, we can say that the show has won the hearts of fans the world over, currently boasting several hundred million viewers worldwide. Every episode has proved captivating; car enthusiasts can’t seem to get enough of the show.

Attaboy TV initially produced the show for a niche U.K. audience. It, however, grew to be broadcast in about 220 countries globally. From season one to four, Mike Brewer and Edd China were restoring cars mainly within the United Kingdom.

In the fifth season, the show was renamed, Wheelers and Dealers: On the Road. The reality stars took to the road and extended their search for restorable cars to Europe.

In the second part of season 8, the Wheeler Dealer stars landed in the United States to look for more exciting cars. To reduce the hustle of shipping vehicles from the US to the UK, the duo decided to set up shop in Huntington Beach, California, for season 12.

It allowed them to churn out more episodes of their hit show. Additionally, it helped them sell their cars within a short time in the country. In the same season, they also unveiled another new workshop across the pond in the U.K.

After season 12, the show was taken over by Velocity Channel from the U.S. Season 14 brought about a significant change to the show’s cast following Edd China’s departure. Subsequently, he was replaced by another mechanic, Ant Anstead.

Despite the changes, the show kept the flame burning and filmed season 15. The 17th season aired on the Motor Trend channel on April 17th, 2019, with eight episodes. The last episode of that season aired on September 24, 2019.

Currently, Wheeler Dealers season 17 is running on Discovery. Season 18 is set to air in 2022, and viewers can’t wait. With ratings on an all-time high, it’s not likely that the show is going to get canceled anytime soon—sorry haters.

However, we must profess a little bit of concern. Due to the Corona pandemic that has swept the globe, the production of the new season has most likely been put on hold.

Mike Brewer.

Mike Brewer was born on August 28, 1964, in the United Kingdom. With a father who was passionate about vehicle customization, it is no surprise that Mike’s future career would come to revolve around cars. Not wanting to pass up the excellent opportunity, the famous car dealer hopped on. He has worked on the show now for the past 17 years since 2002, and I don’t think we will see the last of him anytime soon.

The Wheeler Dealer cast, Mike has earned some good money over the years for his involvement in the series. Mike Brewer has an estimated net worth of $1.5 million. In total, he has starred in over 173 episodes. His salary per episode is still undisclosed, but I’m sure it’s not peanuts.

The Wheeler Dealer former cast Anthony Richard Anstead was born on March 28th, 1979, in the United Kingdom. The television star is popularly known for his work on the show, For the Love of Cars. In sharp contrast to his tv career, you would be surprised to learn that he is a former policeman.

Edd China. (He left the show, Ant Anstead is his replacement).

In March 2017, Wheeler Dealers cast (former) Edd China uploaded a video on his YouTube channel, Edd China, announcing his departure from Wheeler Dealers.

The eloquent Wheeler Dealers reality star brought to our attention that the new producers of the show, Velocity TV, were cutting corners to reduce production costs, effort, and time. They planned to do this by reducing, significantly the filming of Edd China’s workshop jobs.

Former Wheeler Dealers Cast Edd China felt that this new direction would force him to compromise the quality of his work and erode his integrity and, overall, that of the show. The skilled car mechanic shared that Wheeler Dealers had been a part of his life for 13 years since 2002.

He said that leaving the show at the height of its success was a tough decision for him to make, yet it was vital for him to spread his wings.

The former Wheeler Dealer star also wished his replacement, Ant Anstead, his best wishes. Edd noted that being the new boy has never been easy, and he subsequently asked fans to lend their support to Anstead.

Former Wheeler Dealers cast said that he was going to set his eyes on new projects. So far, he has uploaded content on his YouTube channel, Edd China, because he has more time on his hands. The reality star left the show after season 13. Anstead and Mike have been doing the show since then.
